At The Calmness Crew, everything we do is about one mission: helping young people learn the techniques to help their mental health whilst feeling calm, supported, and hopeful.

That’s why we’re so proud to share that The Calmness Crew is now officially a Work for Good business. This means that every Calmness Crew plushie sold doesn’t just bring comfort to the child who cuddles it – it also supports the wider mental health community through donations to two incredible charities: Mind and Place2Be.

Mind is a well-known mental health charity that provides essential support and guidance for anyone facing mental health challenges. They offer resources, advice, and direct support to ensure that no child or adult faces their anxiety or mental health struggles alone.

Place2Be focuses specifically on children’s mental health. Working in schools, they provide counselling and mental health support to children exactly when they need it, helping them build coping strategies for anxiety, stress, and everyday challenges.

Another organisation that is especially close to my heart is Bridge the Gap. Based locally in Derby, they do incredible work supporting children’s mental health and emotional wellbeing. Their team provides a safe, nurturing space where children can explore and understand their feelings, build resilience, and develop the tools they need to thrive. They also offer vital support to parents, carers and schools, helping the whole community around a child to feel equipped and empowered. Seeing the difference they make locally inspires me to do what I can to support their work also, and raise awareness of the life-changing impact they have on young lives.
